Lahore, Punjab had tree cover that extends over 0.030% of its land area and plantation is
required. Deforestation and the degradation of forests are at an alarming rate in Balochistan.
It shortly covers 1.2% that makes 416628 hectares of forest area out of its total land.

The region needs extreme plantation and tree cover. The deforestation in Sindh over the
past 30 years has deprived the province with massive forest cover down to less
than two percent. Sindh is short of tree cover and confronts several issues.

The main cities of Pakistan require a lot of plantations especially the backward
areas of Rawalpindi, Multan and, Lahore. Illegitimately the tree
cover is removed and extreme scarcity is left behind.
